The Founder of 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu: Eddie Bravo
Eddie Bravo is a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under the tutelage of Jean Jacques Machado. 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu was created by Eddie as a unique style of no gi Brazilian Jiu Jitsu which was made to work both inside the cage and on the sporting mats. The intentionality behind the creation was to have an unorthodox style which could keep an opponent under constant control and in the threat of danger. The 10th Planet system was put to the test in Abu Dhabi 2003, and it succeeded masterfully by facilitating Eddie Bravo's victory over long time reigning champion Royler Gracie. Immediately following that victory, Eddie opened his own school to further the system.
Today, the 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu headquarters is based in Hollywood, Ca. The chief instructor is Eddie Bravo. And now there are over 20 affiliate gyms around the world.
Eddie has authored several books (Mastering the Rubber Guard and Mastering the Twister as well as a 3 DVD set, Mastering the Rubber Guard. His system works and is fast becoming the bench mark for nogi jiu jitsu grappling world wide. Check out the main 10th Planet site at: www.10thplanetjj.com

Lindsay Knazan:
Lindsay's bright smile and contagious energy combine to create vibrant, challenging and fun yoga classes.
Lindsay's yoga path began in 2000, when she found herself on a quest for a means to rehabilitate a severe back injury. After a consistent practice in Power and Ashtanga Yoga, as well as Yoga Fusion, Lindsay began harvesting the connection of mind and body through a newfound internal awareness. Through daily physical work on her yoga mat, Lindsay began to notice the foundations of this mindful, holistic practice seeping into many areas of her life, and self development and reflection became a daily focus. Lindsay quickly became inspired and compelled to teach, and began studying under Jennifer Pritchard, completing her teacher training through the Ashtanga Yoga Shala Victoria in 2006.
Since then, Lindsay has studied with various instructors, including: Shiva Rae, Sadie Nardini, Helen Vanderburg and Jeff and Harmony Lichty. She completed her Fusion Fitness teaching certification in 2008, Sadie Nardini's Core Vinyasa Yoga Intensive Training in 2009 and is also BCRPA certified; she is constantly building her practice and growing her foundations as both a teacher and a student.
Lindsay loves to teach combination classes that blend strength, inspiration, endurance and flexibility of both the mind and body. Her classes often incorporate music, and are mindful, creative and always different!
